David and Goliath

So we learned about David and Goliath last week in bible class and instead of the curriculum music I used this good old school hymnal hym. And yes, they make these motions when we sing this song in church!

Hello all of you Unbelievers!

I know you all believed that I would never blog again but I proved you wrong once more!!! I seriously don't know how busy mothers find the time to blog on a daily, or even weekly basis! Hats off to you people and to all of you who look at my blog, that just aint happening!!
Everything is going great! After about three weeks about freaking out over wether or not I am quipped to be a homeschooler/home maker/cook/nurse/laundry girl/toilet cleaner/poop wiper/bottle maker/I mean need I really say more, I have settled down again into our little routine. I have enjoyed this month so much and feel incredibly blessed to have all three of my little hens under my wing. Now as for next year, don't know yet. But, this year has for the most part been incredible and I am so thankful for the opportunity and the results of our efforts. Allie is doing so well and Joshua is even chiming in a little bit these days. Emily is still a complete distraction to all of us. She is the cutest thing under the sun and absolutely demands attention. I swear everywhere we go people try to steal her from us. She is so mild, easy to please and adorable.
I won't even try to recap Christmas other than to say it was awesome. The kids loved their gifts this year and all of our favorite part was going to Florida for the week. So good to see all my peeps down there and cried like a baby when I had to leave. Allie cried halfway back to Florida. I think she has a crush on her cousin Luke and her and Emma just hit it off this year. We miss you guys so much!!
Well, Emi is calling me in there. I will leave you with pics!

What happened to December

So it is Saturday and Emily woke up at 5:50 for a bottle. Will somebody please tell my children that on Saturday, Mommy and Daddy really really really would love to sleep until there is a peep of daylight seeping through the windows. I mean really, is that too much to ask? So as I was laying there trying to go back to sleep, I started to get super excited because we are only a week from Christmas! WHAT! The, oh I have plenty of time to finish up mindframe that has settled in to my brain for the last few weeks has now vanished and been replaced by a panicked you gotta get out there and finish up your shopping mindframe! Michael is keeping all three of the children on Tuesday for me to go and finish up and I ask that you pray for my husband as he has never had all three for any more that 2 or 3 hours by himself. Although they are little, my children can make a grown person cry if they want to! I now know that feeling that my parents had on Christmas morning as they watched us open our presents. It was like they were getting presents. I used to feel sorry for them because they never got eachother anything. Now I completely get it! Allie asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told her that watching her and Joshua open there gifts was my present. She didn't get it. She will one day!

Here I Am

I know I know. Here she goes again right. Well I do have a good excuse for not blogging this time. My precious father in law passed away, then my internet was down for about three weeks, then Michael's computer crashed, then...I could go on but I won't. I know what you want to hear about and see!
Emily now takes a bottle which she absolutely loves. She has gained two pounds in about three weeks and is finally looking like a seven month old! Can you believe that: SEVEN MONTHS! Oh my word time has flown! She sits up and copies us and lights up our world with her unmatched preciousness!

Allie is still homeschooling, has now lost another tooth, and is as sweet and down right sassy as ever! She is really a great kid. She tells on herself even when she knows she won't get caught cause she feels bad, she melts when she knows she has upset me or her daddy, and she tries her hardest to be little mommy to Emibear. Love her to death.

Joshua, well lets just say he is all all all boy. He never stops, ever. He is the one I have to follow around and say, okay what are you up to now? He is horrible in church, horrible in the grocery store, but the coolest kid you'll ever want to meet. He really is. We just have to get past these horrible 3's!

This past weekend we were blessed with a wonderful semi annual meeting. Elder Hugh Sanders was with us and let me tell you, if you have never had the good fortune of being with this man, you have missed out. He has such an awesome gift to preach and is quick to give God all of the glory. He has a tender heart towards everyone but especially children. Joshua calls his brother "Q" so that is now what we call him. We love brother "Q" and feel so blessed to have had him in our home and with our church!

I Spy Emily

Love this picture. While I was teaching Allie yesterday I turned around to this! Joshua gave Emily all of her "babies" and he decided to become a baby himself. He loves his little sister so much and is so sweet with her 95% of the time. We won't talk about the other 5%!

Little Chatterbox

This little thing loves to hear herself talk. I find myself trying to talk over her during school and of course Allie pays her more attention than me, but can you really blame her?
